INDONESIA-EUROPE BUSINESS FORUM 2024

 

1. EVENT AGENDA

What are the main agendas of IEBF 2024?

IEBF 2024 is structured around several key components designed to facilitate business cooperation, collaboration and investment between Indonesia and Europe. These include:

  • Opening Ceremony: a formal event to inaugurate the forum, featuring keynote addresses from high-level officials and industry leaders.
  • Business Pitching Session: Platforms for Indonesian companies and associations to present their business proposals, products, or services to a targeted audience of potential investors and partners.
  • Business Matching Session: One-on-one meetings between Indonesian and European businesses to explore potential collaborations and partnerships, done on a reservation basis.
  • Mini Showcase: A dedicated space for showcasing Indonesian products, services and innovations, providing participants with an opportunity for networking and business consultations.
  • Closing Ceremony: a concluding event to summarize the forum's achievements, including the signing and announcement of curated MoUs and business deals, followed by a press briefing at the end of the day.

 

What is the primary focus of IEBF?

IEBF primarily focuses on facilitating one-on-one business matchings. At its core, the event’s personalized approach is to provide a platform where Indonesian and European business counterparts can have a focused engagement and interaction to foster opportunities for networking and collaboration. Pitching of ideas between strategic and prospective stakeholders are also provided.

 

2. MAIN EVENT

How do I register for the Indonesia-Europe Business Forum (IEBF)?

To register for the IEBF 2024 main event, please complete the Registration Form(s) accessible through the following link: https://bit.ly/iebf2024regevent

 

Are there any documents required during the registration process?

  • For General Participants*, no documents need to be submitted during registration.

  • For those registering for One-on-One Business Matching, please refer to information about One-on-One Business Matching Session below.

 

*Note: General Participants refer to those who wish to attend IEBF’s ceremonial events, including the Opening Ceremony, Business Pitching Sessions, and Closing Session.

 

Can I register multiple attendees from the same company?

Unfortunately, group registration is not made feasible.

 

Can I register on-site at the venue?

No, registration for the event must be done in advance.

 

When is the deadline for registration?

The registration deadlines are as follows:

  • For General Participants: 28 September 2024
  • For One-on-One Business Meetings: 5 September 2024

 

3. ONE-ON-ONE BUSINESS MATCHING

How does the One-on-One Business Matching process work?

One-on One Business Matching process consists of the following steps:

  • Registration: To participate in this Session, you must register for One-on One Business Matching.

Please complete the the Registration Form, which can be accessed through this page: https://bit.ly/iebf2024regmatching 

*Note: We kindly request that you prepare a company profile or portofolio file for uploading. If the file size exceeds 5 MB and cannot be uploaded through the Registration Form, you can upload or drop file through the provided links below for file submission:

  • Matching Process: The Committee will match Indonesian and European companies based on the business objectives, needs, sectors, preferences, and other relevant considerations specified in the registration.
  • Confirmation of Potential Match: Once a potential match has been found, the Committee will send an e-mail notifying you of a counterpart who has expressed in meeting with your company. You’ll be asked to confirm whether you’d like to accept the match or not, as well as whether you wish or not to be facilitated for a virtual business matching, prior to October 7, 2024.
  • Matching Schedule Announcement: The Committee will inform you the schedule for virtual business matching. Should you wish to not-have virtual business matching, you will only have a matching session on the day of the event.

With regard to October 7, 2024, the Committee will release a matching schedule document which will specify details such as: a) pairings of Indonesian and European companies, b) room assignments, c) scheduled times, and d) the designated committee-in-charge for assisting the matching. The said document will be prior to 7 October 2024.

  • Business Matching Format: The matchings are tentatively scheduled for 20-30 minute slots per meeting.

 

All Business Matching Session will happen only on 7 October 2024.

 

4. MINI SHOWCASE

What is Mini Showcase?

Mini Showcase at IEBF 2024 is an open-for-public exhibition tailored for European stakeholders to discover Indonesian vibrant business landscape and attractive investment opportunities, aiming to foster stronger economic partnerships between Indonesia and Europe.

Featured exhibitions include:

  • Showcasing of several Indonesian State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN).
  • Selected Special Economic Zones (SEZ) with information regarding investment opportunities in new economic growth centers of Indonesia.
  • Special segment of the National Capital City Authority (OIKN) on the strategic development and investment opportunities in the new capital city of Indonesia.
  • Dedicated booths for the Ministry of Investment (BKPM) and Indonesia Investment Authority (INA) for investment consultations.
  • Curated Indonesian startups showcasing innovative products.
  • A virtual gallery showcasing Indonesia's top investment projects, leading digital startups product, and premier tourism destinations.
